Me replacing all the steer axle and rear drive brakes drums kingpins and much more...brakes are very important to get correctly mounted because the slightest weak point can create a massive accident

Maintenance

I  already knew the importance of routine maintenance but now it is concrete...we had a truck come in today that was maintained by another company and nothing was ever greased the customer now has a very expensive bill and many man hrs

Reflections on learning

I have been learning a lot from on the job and at campus. On the job is a lot more hands on than at school I learn a lot of the ideas and concepts at school but put them into play at work which can be two different things. An example of this is the short,open, and high resistance ideas we are going through now on the job they test things by time and efficiency. We try to diagnose as quick as possible because time is money
